How to open a plastic jar?
- step 1. hold the jar body tightly with one hand and cover the lid with the other hand. Rotate the lid counterclockwise until it separates from the jar, If the lid is too tight to open, move to step 2.
- step 2. If your jar is full of food and has been refrigerated, and you want to open it right now, just do this. Turn your jar upside down, hold the jar tightly with one hand, pat the bottom with the other hand. Repeat the step 1 to open the plastic jar. If that still doesn’t work, move to step 3 and step 4.
- step 3. This is effective for both empty jar or full jar. Place the jar in warm water. The warm water will help expand the air of the jar. The hot-gas inside will create a rising pressure, which will loosen the tight lid slightly. When the jar is warm, repeat the step 1 to open the jar. If the jar won’t open, then turn to step 4.
- step 4. Look for a good angle to drop some edible oil into the groove on the lid, and slowly turn the jar body so that the oil seeps into the groove. Then repeat the step 1 to open your jar. If that still doesn’t work, try repeating steps 1 to 4 until the jar is opened.
